Learning Train Academy provides a new approach to educate children through a play-based curriculum.Research shows that play is essential for children. Play promotes healthy brain development, contributes to academic skills, helps children manage stress and strengthens family bond.
To simplify. Through targeted exercises and lessons, our children will be taught powerful school and life skills through play. Learning Train Academy is offering a private-school-Montessori-like quality education for underprivileged, working class, and BIPOC families. Included in the curriculum is an introduction to a second language, Spanish.Learning Train Academy, also, understands the connection between learning and proper nutrition. Ensuring hunger will never be a barrier to learning, our children will be provided with healthy meals. Our Center Director/ Director of Educational programs has a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, Associates of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Teaching. Working as a teacher at the elementary level with experience in early childhood education, she clearly understands the needs of children in our community. She has carefully and thoughtfully designed a curriculum to ensure our children excel. 
The play-based curriculum that will be administered by our staff is a comprehensive approach to educating children so they never miss a beat.
